The Department of Construction of Quang Ngai province agreed on the project planning of Thach Bich eco-tourism area proposed by T&T Group.
The Department of Construction of Quang Ngai province has just sent a letter to comment on the investment of Thach Bich eco-tourism area project proposed by T&T Group Joint Stock Company. According to the proposal, the project has a total area of about 200ha, of which 185ha belongs to Tra Binh commune, Tra Bong district and 15ha belongs to Binh Minh commune, Binh Son district.
This group proposes 7 subdivisions in the project including: cultural quarter, Onsen hot mineral bath area, amusement park area, Go Kiu hill resort, organic farm experience tourist area, Tra Bong riverside resort and Tra Bong riverside landscape.
Agreeing with the project proposed by T&T Group, however, the Department said that the project planning area still has a number of businesses operating, investing and exploiting. In addition, the province also planned and arranged Thach Bich mineral opening and reserve land to expand the mine with a scale of 2.17ha in the North of Tra Bong river. Therefore, the Department of Construction proposed the relevant agencies to agree on a suitable solution and handle, to avoid overlapping other works and projects.
Previously, in 2016, Quang Ngai province agreed to assign Thien Tan Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company to establish an investment project in Thach Bich hot spring resort in Thach Bich village, Tra Binh commune, Tra Bong district. on an area of 200 ha. However, after many years, the above plan has not been implemented.
By the end of 2020, T&T Group reported the idea of investing in the Thach Bich eco-tourism area project and was approved by the leaders of the People’s Committee of Quang Ngai province. This is one of 15 key projects attracting investment in the period of 2021-2025 of the province.
